With Spring, a sense of renewal also arrives. This usually means for me reigning in creative spurts. While I did have some “startitis,” I kept pretty focused on the projects I have been working on since Winter - Jester and Bluebonnet. The immediacy of a wedding and the usual sock knitting made me yearn for airy, yet substantial projects. In this episode I discuss the thinking process of my recent project planning. This process was brought about by my legal writing process.

Happy to back podcasting… and I hope you enjoy the show. I am holding a contest where one listener could win the Winter 2009 Issue of Verena Knitting magazine. At the moment the podcast does not have any sponsors, so my endorsement of this product is strictly my own. If you want to see if you will like it too, leave a comment in my blog at www.knitscience.com, send me an email at knitscience@gmail.com, or a message in ravelry to “miriamq” and let me know the following:
1) Is there a knitting fad you wish came back into fashion? Tell me about it.
2) Is there a type of knitting you wish were not in fashion? Tell me about it.
3) Is there a project that you can’t wait to start or finish? Tell me about it.

The winner will be randomly chosen and I may read or describe your input in a future episode. Entries will be considered up to April 1.

<itunes:summary>Here is the last episode of this series. I leave behind the jacket making to finish Jester. My knitting disaster story is told in full detail and a story by the munchkin about a knitter who makes mistakes ends the show.

Here are some links of things I discuss in the podcast:
1) Verena Knitting Magazine
2) Berroco March sweater
3) Couture Sewing by Schaeffer
4) Producing a Chanel jacket by Taunton Press
5) The Sewing Divas blog entry on constructing a Chanel jacket
6) Best of Rowan book. The Jester is on the front cover at the bottom right.
