This episode is the first of a three part series of upcoming episodes focused on designing a Chanel-style garment. In this episode I provide options of color-patterns, a knitting instructions, and a review of these patterns to imitate a Chanel-style garment. The book reviewed is the Jackets for Work and Play by XRX Books.
The intro music is courtesy of the podsafe music network, and it is called Victoria, by the Dust Rhinos.
A story by the munckin about an unlikely blanket closes the show.

Miriam! Thanks for an inspiring show. I’ve always thought that the Jean Frost jackets were too difficult, maybe I’ll give one a try. Love your munchkin’s suspenseful stories. He uses his voice so well. Please keep us informed of your progress & pitfalls in the Channel Jacket.

Just to let you kow how much I enjoy each of your shows. Lately, I have been having increased difficulty in hearing you (maybe since you got your new equipment?). The volume is too low for me to catch everything you have to say and I so hate missing any part of your broadcast. Hopefully, it can be remedied. Thank you, lynne
