Episode 15 - Ease Into It
This show is about “ease” and how to plan for it. I also look ahead into the Fall and discuss the Red Scarf Project.
With a finishing story about my munchkin illustrating how much I have to explain about my new sock project in double pointed needles.
I get motivated by your comments and knowing that you like what I have to say, so if you want to leave me a message you can always email me at knitscience@gmail.com.
Happy Knitting!

We focus on the mattress stitch and selvadge edges. A good tutorial on mattress weaving is one from knitty.com and also a tutorial by Dawn from The Virtual Sanity .
I also review the book by Nancy Bush, Knitting Vintage Socks , and focus on one particular pattern, the Madder Ribbed Sock since I have started a sock fancied around that pattern with Jawoll Aktion 2007 yarn. I mentioned two books for finishing:
1) Finishing Techniques For Hand Knitters by Sharon Brant. 2) The Knitter’s Book of Finishing Techqniques by Nancie Wiseman.
The song in this Episode is entitled “My Planet” by Lark Wiskey , courtesy of the podsafe music network.
