Episode 3 - All About Knitting
So this episode 3 is about a lot of knitting since the last podcast had a lot more science than knitting talk. In this episode I talk about bamboo, buffalo, and quiviut yarns. Especially, I highlight the work of the Windy Valley Muskox Yarns. I have finished some objects and started planning new ones. To get the pattern for the Windy Cable Knee Socks from Interweave, sign up for the Knitting Daily newsletter website. I ordered Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock in Mineshaft from Jimmy Beans Wool online store. Very good service!
Finally, I tell you all about the DFW Fiberfest 2007 taking place during April 28-30 in Addison, TX.

Until the next one, Happy Knitting!

Great podcast again. I was surprised hearing my name on a podcast. My husband got a good laugh out of it too.
I tend to almost create “experimental protocols” of most projects. I usually type it up in Word & then use Docs to Go to sync it to an extra PDA. That way I can update it on the go. I try to keep track of when I did what & any changes or surprises or goofs that crop up. I tend to take tons of photos at every stage. Thank goodness for iPhoto.
Recently I tried switching to a written notebook & wasn’t very happy with that. It was too hard finding where I left off each project however it was handy for diagramming & drawing my notes.
Keep up the good work.
PS: Ack! I got the wrong answer for the validation question. Do I feel silly. Got the calculator for the 2nd try.
