On the first podcast, which is available through iTunes and Podcast Alley, I talk about how and why I wanted to podcast about my knitting. I talk about my current project and the project I am planning. Hear my story about Buffalo yarn. And, it wouldn’t be Knit Science if I didn’t talk about a technique or trend in knitting or tools related to knitting. It’s not a brainy podcast, but it will appeal to those of us who crave as much information about knitting and want to get insipired to try new things with our knitting projects.

I like your first episode and i can’t wait to hear more from you.
Keep up the good work
Well done! I discovered your podcast just yesterday and very glad that I’ve heard it! Now I’m downloading the second episode. Your podcast is informative, which is very important and not boring (as usually informative podcasts are). Thank you for the wpi technique (that I didn’t know of) and usuful links!
ups, I messed up my URL adress–here is the normal one
Hi! I just finished listening to your 1st podcast & have started on your 2nd. I’m in Flower Mound (suburb of Lewisville) & I work in science (not engineering) also.
I have a closet full of knitting looms & boards in multiple shapes & sizes. I started this way because everyone told me how hard it was to knit with needles. When I wanted to start doing more complicated things I decided I needed to learn the basics on needles in order to help me understand the construction of each stitch so I could better translate knitting needle patterns to the looms & boards. I loved knitting with needles & now my boards & looms are gathering dust.
Keep up with the podcast. I’ve just gotten to organizing your projects & that’s something I’m mildly obsessive about.
:-)
I loved your podcast and was so excited to hear you talk about loom knitting. I am a loom knitter because I am so clumsy with needle knitting. I have learned so much about loom knitting from the internet. I agree that it is a great way to teach kids to knit. My two youngest sons have learned to knit on the loom. I look forward to listening to all your podcasts.
OK, so it appears that I am a little bit late to the party, but I’m glad I found it! I listened to episode 1 because I saw it on itunes, but it’s all by itself up there. Now that I see that you have other episodes, I’ll listen to them so that I can catch up.
I’ve loved knitting since childhood and lately there’s been nothing but knitting podcasts on my ipod.
Your podcast is delightful. Thanks so much for sharing all that you do.
I just discovered your podcast last week. A member of the yahoo socknitter group posted a link to your podcast. IT’S GREAT!!! I don’t have much of a yarn stash either because I like to buy yarn for a specific project too.
